FCE makes Batter Management System to customer specifications, in master-slaves or all bluit-in configuration, with wide flexibility on the choice of voltage and temperature sensing and configuration of communication protocols, CAN bus, CAN FD, Lin, etc.
FCE has a great deal of experience in the complex field of High Voltage and Low Voltage connectors, for power or signal purposes, and can support You in the design of the respective wiring and HVIL circuitry and the correct sizing of cables.
FCE designs and manufactures the entire electromechanical management system of the powertrain’s high voltage circuit, both inside the battery pack and in PDUs (Power Distribution Units) outside the battery pack.
FCE selects suitable vehicle control units (VCUs) for Your powertrain and provides the appropriate firmware for Your application, be it an full electric vehicle or a hybrid vehicle. In addition, FCE develops control units for special in-vehicle functions (gateway, HMI, data logging) and for managing DC charging of the battery pack.
FCE supports customers in choosing the most suitable On-Board Charger for their application and in selecting the best DC/DC Converter for the low-voltage system power supply. It also ensures that these devices are inserted into the propulsion system in the most correct way, guaranteeing their functionality and the safety of the HVIL and pre-charging circuits.
FCE designs and implements electrified supercharging systems for internal combustion engines, choosing the most suitable system (ebooster or eturbo) and producing the accompanying 48 V battery and VCU.
